Welcome to Flinders Ranges Walks care program for 2025 - 26 years for the WTSG and 32 years for the walks.
First an acknowledgment of the inputs of previous and future participants. The walks are not everybody's ‘cup of tea’ but the original objective of safe and sustainable access to natural areas coupled with interpretation is appreciated by some 10 000 walkers annually.
Dates for accommodation have been firmed up by DEW and are listed below.
The preferred accommodation of a person per room is usually adequate at Oraparinna and Balcanoona. The six rooms at The Dutchman can be a constraint but some people have opted to camp if necessary.
Length of stay is a personal decision, but can we suggest a minimum of three days on site which assumes an additional day each way for travel.
