... taking people to interesting places ...

The Walking Trails Support Group was established in 1999 to develop low risk and low maintenance walks in areas which have interesting features. Members of the group have developed about 230 km of walking tracks in protected areas. These are largely in the Flinders Ranges and Barossa region.
Notes are available for walkers with details about the landscape they are walking through. All our country has stories whether about geology, Aboriginal occupation, flora and fauna or European settlement. It all adds to the experience.
Our small group works voluntarily maintaining the trails and providing walk leaflets. It is straightforward work, can be vigorous, but is always in nice places. We welcome new members for a mere $5.00.
More about our continuing activity is available from the tabs on the left.
WTSG volunteers have produced two Apps - Flinders Ranges Walks and Barossa Country Walks. These free apps for walks in the Flinders Ranges and Barossa are available for phone or tablet from Google Play and App Store.
